When a partner makes a direct investment, which can range anywhere from$250,000 to $10,000,000, they sit on the board and are involved in advising the company. Direct investments are not focused on specific industry sectors or in a particular stage in the investment cycle. Investments are made according to the investment opportunities in a particular region of the country.
Regional private equity programs are established in Utah, Ohio, New Mexico, Wisconsin and Mexico through strong relationships with many private equity funds active in these specific areas. This enables a deepening of the local capital pool and creates an attraction for external investments.
