CID Grant Reviewer Application

New Mexico creative industries division logo

The New Mexico Creative Industries Division (CID) is gearing up for our FY27 grant cycle and we’re inviting community partners, creative professionals, and subject‑matter experts to join us as grant reviewers.

CID receives a high volume of applications across multiple programs each fiscal year, and our reviewer committee plays an essential role in ensuring fair, thoughtful, and community‑informed funding decisions. Whether you’ve supported review in the past or are interested in getting involved for the first time, we’d love to have you join us.

Reviewers will support two FY27 programs:

  • Creative Support Organization Grant – Estimated review period: November 7 – December 15, 2026
  • Business Development & Expansion Grant – Estimated review period: January 5 – February 15, 2026

Each reviewer will be assigned roughly 8–10 applications per program, with an estimated commitment of 5 hours minimum per review cycle depending on experience and familiarity.

Review activities include reading applications, scoring according to our rubric, attending at least two virtual meetings, and adhering to CID’s Code of Conduct and conflict‑of‑interest guidelines. All reviews are completed through Submittable.

*If you or your organization plan to apply to any FY27 CID grant, you will not be able to review applications to ensure fairness.

To sign up, simply complete our brief Reviewer Application Form below to share your availability, background, and any potential conflicts.

Applications are due August 31, 2026.

You will need to sign a Code of Conduct form and upload it on your application below.
