SANTA FE – The New Mexico Economic Development Department’s Office of Business Advocacy (OBA) has successfully assisted more than 200 businesses in breaking through regulatory and licensing hurdles which has led to the creation of 1,623 jobs and the saving of 646 jobs. The OBA offers a unique service for businesses looking for help navigating through regulatory and permitting issues at both state and federal levels. OBA staff works as an intermediary between the business and regulatory agency on a case-by-case basis to resolve various issues.
