LAS VEGAS – Today Secretary Jon Barela announced $75,000 in Local Economic Development Act (LEDA) funds for Martinez & Son’s Processing at their ribbon cutting ceremony today in Las Vegas. The LEDA funds, which are appropriated for infrastructure projects, will help with the construction for the refrigeration area for the meat processing plant that will serve Northern New Mexico ranchers. This will help with the creation of 12 direct jobs and more than 50 indirect jobs.
