Governor Susana Martinez Announces $1.8 Million Water Infrastructure Investment to Support Continued Growth of Borderplex

Las Cruces, NM – Today, Governor Susana Martinez announced the New Mexico Economic Development Department will invest $1.8 million in Local Economic Development Act (LEDA) funds to build a well serving the area around the booming borderplex in Santa Teresa. The well will support businesses such as the recently opened MCS Frames 215,000 square-foot distribution center, FedEx Ground’s new 215,000 square-foot logistics facility, Valley Cold Storage’s new 400,000 square-foot facility, and 6,400 linear feet of new rail in the Santa Teresa Intermodal Park.
