Las Vegas – Today Governor Susana Martinez, Economic Development Secretary Jon Barela and the community of Las Vegas joined Allan Affeldt, Tina Mion and Daniel Lutzick, new owners of the Hotel Castañeda, to celebrate their purchase and plans to restore the hotel that will transform downtown Las Vegas. The Hotel Castañeda is a historic Fred Harvey House hotel built in 1898 and located in the Las Vegas Rail Yard District. The rehabilitated destination hotel and restaurant will serve as an anchor tenant for the Las Vegas MainStreet district and have a spillover effect on other businesses in the area.
