Job Training Incentive Program Awards Six Companies $399,721.52 to Create 24 New Jobs and Step-Up Training for 24 Current Workers

SANTA FE – The New Mexico Development Department’s Job Training Incentive Program (JTIP) Board approved $399,721.52 in funding at its December meeting for 24 new jobs and Step-Up training for 24 current employees in New Mexico to receive new skills. The funding was awarded to seven companies with an average wage of $23.30 for the newly-created jobs. The next board meeting is scheduled for Friday, January 10, 2014.
