SANTA FE – The New Mexico Economic Development Department’s Job Training Incentive Program (JTIP) Board approved $647,322.96 in funding at its June board meeting. The funding was awarded to seven companies for the training of 36 new employees. Of the 36 jobs 32 were high-wage positions with an average wage of $27.33. The next board meeting will be July 12, in Santa Fe.
